How to Root US Samsung Galaxy S5 Variants [CF-Auto-Root]

Now you can root US Samsung Galaxy S5 variants (T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular and Metro PCS) by using cf auto root method easily without deleting any data from your phone.
Rooting your phone will allow you to install custom ROM and remove the bloatware of your carrier and more.
This method isn’t working only for Android 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 KitKat but it works also for Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Preparations :

• Backup your data, incase this process corrupt your files.
• Download and install Samsung Kies or Samsung mobile USB driver.
• Charged galaxy S5 (at least 20%)

How to root galaxy S5 SM-G900F [CF-Auto-Root] :

1. Download CF-Auto-Root file for your specific device and unzip it.
   SM-G900R4 (US Cellular): CF-Auto-Root-klteusc-klteusc-smg900r4.zip
   SM-G900T (T-Mobile): CF-Auto-Root-kltetmo-kltetmo-smg900t.zip
   SM-G900P (Sprint): CF-Auto-Root-kltespr-kltespr-smg900p.zip
   SM-G900T1 (Metro PCS): CF-Auto-Root-kltemetropcs-kltemetropcs-smg900t1.zip
2. Run Odin3 as administrator.
3. Put “CF-Auto-Root-xxx-xxx-xxx.tar.md5” in PDA section.
4. Boot your phone to download mode (Home + Power + Volume down), then Volume up button to continue.
5. Connect your phone to PC and wait until Odin detect your phone (Odin should display Added in Odin’s message box and show something in ID:COM).
6. Click on start and wait a few seconds until odin3 display PASS.
7. After rebooting, Go to play store and download the latest version of SuperSU app
8. Open SuperSU, it will detect Samsung KNOX, hit OK to disable KNOX.

Now your galaxy S5 is fully rooted, to confirm that, install “Root Checker” App from Google Play store and check root.
