Safe mode allows you to turn on the device with third-party apps disabled. Then you can easily remove all apps that may be causing a conflict or software problem.
To boot your device in this mode and use it to fix app problems, follow the steps:
Turning on safe mode
- Turn off your phone.
- Press Power key to turn on your device and when ‘Samsung Galaxy’ logo appears, release the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
- Continue to hold Volume down key until your device finishes booting.
- “Safe mode” will be displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen.
You can uninstall any third party application which causing problems in the system.
To turn of “Safe mode”, just restart your device and it will boot in the normal mode.
